As a citizen commissioner in the City of Berkeley, she has contributed 15 years of volunteer effort toward rebuilding our infrastructure for a sustainable future. Raising two daughters she was active throughout their public school lives on the BUSD PTA, fundraising for the Berkeley schools, and leading the Board of Directors for the largest bilingual low income childcare program in Alameda County. She is an energetic and active member of the community.
