Elected as President Pro-Tempore of her college in 2010, she was appointed Community Outreach Coordinator and campus representative for the statewide event Hands Across California to raise money for community colleges in 2011. She acquired political experience working in both the field and finance departments of Mark Takano’s Congressional campaign in 2012, and previous legal experience working as a legal assistant and eligibility screener for the non-profit legal aid group, Inland Empire Latino Lawyers Association in 2013. Currently, Marcie holds the position of Administrative Officer for the Inland Empire Hispanic Leadership Council, a non-profit group based out of Riverside, CA whose mission is to advocate, educate, and empower the Latino Community within the Inland Empire. Marcie Graduated from the University of California Riverside, and holds a B.A in Political Science/Law and Society.
