Read moreI am a native of San Francisco, CA, the only child of a divorced mother, and a product of public schools. In my professional life, I have worked with a variety of non-profit organizations supplying services to low income individuals in my community. This background gives me a very personal perspective on the difficulties faced by low income residents in the Bay Area, and a deep personal commitment to help serve this constituency in particular.
As a child of the 1960s/70s, I have also watched as so many of the battles we fought – and won – have had to be fought again, and again. I want to add my voice to fighting those battles so that we can win them decisively and move on to new issues. The breadth of my experience, in both the private sector and non-profit, allows me to approach problems from unique angles, often helping produce consensus and resolutions. I am ready to put this to work in public office.
