Read morePassion for Education and children is what drives AngelAnn Flores in her current jobs as After School Program Facilitator, Substitute Teacher and Community Activist. Since being an after school facilitator for the past seven years, Ms. Angel is able to have open communication between Teachers, Students, and Parents and has worked with over 700+ students and families. As a community organizer, she sits on the Kennedy Community Center Advisory Board as Chair, and is Secretary for the newly revamped Hispanics for Political Action organization. Because of Ms. Angel’s passion for education and children, her name will be on the November 2014 electoral ballot for Board of trustee, for Stockton Unified School District. She is supported by her community, and some of the current city, county, and assembly, elected officials. She aspires to be a principal in the community in which she grew up in to continue giving back to the children in her community. Ms. Angel is also a single mother of 3, among the other things on her plate, but you won’t hear her complaining, she walks with faith, knowing that this is her destiny.
