As far as I can remember, I have always been a public speaker, attending school board meetings, speaking at my class graduation, speaking at charity dinners in Minnesota as an A Better Chance high school student, actively participating in the Wind River Toastmasters chapter and hosting sales and networking events across the world in places like Les Ulis, Shanghai and Nuremberg.
I entered the world of entrepreneurship 2013 as an online marketing consultant for small businesses and nonprofits. I am a big supporter and active participant in the movement towards diversity and inclusion in the technology. Prior to that, I spent 8 years in the tech industry in License Compliance and as an Alliances / Operations Manager. During those 8 years, I was able to grow many of my skills and interests including: relationship management, event marketing, content writing and process and operations management. I was able to travel the world and learn about different work and personal cultures and customs. That experience has prepared me for my journey towards a career in politics and social reform.
