Alisha Wilkins has 15 years of government relations experience. She is the principal consultant for the Empire Consulting Group, a government relations firm which provides organizations with advocacy planning.
Her career began with Carpi & Clay, a San Diego government relations firm, whose clientele included the San Diego County Water Authority, San Diego Port Authority, and AT&T.
She went on to establish Planned Parenthood’s very first Riverside County public affairs department; which she led for nearly 13 years. During her tenure she pioneered expansion of the agency’s outreach into Riverside County. Her vision and foresight increased the identification and endorsement of candidates supportive of women’s reproductive healthcare in this region.
Most notable is her compassion to her civic and volunteer duties. Alisha is a an Alumni of the Eleanor Jean Grier Leadership Academy, member of The GROUP, Board member of the Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc., and Governor Brown appointee to the California Commission on the Status of Women & Girls where she co-chairs the Legislative Committee with fellow Commissioner Senator Hannah Beth Jackson.
A proud military wife for 20 years, she lives in Temecula with her husband. Her son is a freshman at the University of Arizona.
